Dear Mr. Auden,

    Dr. Kraus is at present in Istanbul on vacation.
I hope yiou have meanwhile received the printesd invitation
for the 28th. Gladly, we will send one of our assistants,
Mr. Urbach, to call on you at the Altenburger Hof and walk
with you to the Josefsplatz.  It takes five minutes to walk,
by car it would be at least fifteen.  I hope 7h45 is agree-
able to you.

     According to Dr. Kraus' wishes I have selected the
poems to be read by Mr. Benning, and he will need about 35
to 40 minutes.  We would be very glad if you wcould chosreade
for l5 to 20 minutes, so that the whole program lasts for
about one hour.
