In W. H. Auden's letter to Stella Musulin from 28 April 1965, he sends her a German-language prose translation of his poem "Joseph Weinheber", made in collaboration with Elizabeth Mayer. In the same letter, he asks Musulin to "check the translation for errors". The estate of Stella Musulin includes manuscript notes, in Stella Musulin's and Elsa von Musulin's hands, that relate to this translation; as well as a typescript of a reworked version of the German translation that incorporates these notes.
